Located over the water in a converted 1926 Fish House, Bonita Bill's is focused on serving fresh, local seafood and island hospitality. Here at Bill's, we offer an experience like none other. Walking through our doors you will feel transported to old Florida. Bonita Bill's is a place where you can soak in the island laid-back atmosphere reminiscent of times-gone-by, just the way founder Bill Semmer intended. Bonita Bill's floating docks are BACK! Guests are welcome to hang out at the bar or one of our many unique waterfront dining spots or make their order to-go and enjoy on their boat. Is there anything better than a day of boating and Bonita Bill's?
Hang with the Locals
The back bay is full of activity and Bonita Bill's is the perfect spot to hang with some of our favorite locals - dolphins, manatees, tarpon, sheepsheads, pelicans, eagrets, and herons - just to name a few! Being near the bridge is like the seabed buffet at tidal changes and we often see dolphins most days here at our little slice of paradise.
Fish While You Wait...Seriously
Bring your poles to Bonita Bill's and cast a line while you wait or grab a bite! Live bait is available next door with Marina Town Bait & Tackle. We might have limited dock space at the moment, but all Bonita Bill's guests are welcome to fish on our docks during their visit - just grab a fishing pass at the bar so we know you are a guest! We just ask that you are courteous to those around you and share the space we have while we rebuild.

It's Tiki Time
We've partnered with Paradise Tiki Cruises to bring you the fun. Order your food & drinks to go from Bonita Bill's before your Tiki Adventure and leave board right from our floating docks. At the end of your tour, grab a drink and catch some live music to cap the end of a perfect day.

Live Bait!
Located next door of the Bonita Bill's event room, facing the bay, you'll find the best live bait on the island. Grab your bait and your Bonita Bill's breakfast or lunch to go, and hit the water!
Marina Town Bait & Tackle and 24 Kayak rentals will be setting up shop next door to the Bonita Bill's event room in 2024.
"The Boat"
Our own little claim to fame is the boat that landed on our docks, just inches from the main building, during Hurricane Ian in 2022. Guests have since had fun signing the boat, taking pictures, and even dining right underneath it. While its been a unique attraction we didnt't plan on, its continuing to put stress on the surounding docks and pilings and will be removed Spring 2024. We will try to salvage of piece of the bow as a part of history but it will be a tricky removal. Stay tuned to our social media for updates on the boat. We are looking forward to building back and repairing our docks VERY SOON!
